Dear Artisan,
The AI space is moving at a pace that makes some people lose their clarity.
People try weird things in order to catch lightning in a bottle. Some of those experiments work, and some of them don’t. We are not here to judge, but to observe and reflect.
But when someone creates an AI-mouse, I’m going to have to judge a little bit. Welcome to the world of Logitech and the 21st century’s great new invention: the AI-powered mouse.

I know you’ve been waiting for this one.
The world’s first AI-powered mouse is here. Logitech recently announced “it’s launching a new tool called Logi AI Prompt Builder, which incorporates ChatGPT into the Logi Options+ app. This allows users to more readily access ChatGPT’s AI functions as part of their workflow.
In addition, Logitech is launching a new mouse: The Signature AI Edition Mouse, which has its own AI prompt button.”
Just when you thought innovation could not go any further, we receive an AI-mouse from the technology overlords.
Jokes aside, this might be what we call “peak frenzy.”
In all my years of being an internet degenerate, not once have I thought “Wow, if only I could speak into my mouse, things would be so much easier.” This product announcement, however, does not come close to matching the disaster that is the Humane AI pin.
Look, I spent 7 years in the crypto industry. I know what it looks like when there is too much money solving too few problems. Or just solving problems that don’t actually exist.
This is a real concern for the AI industry. Nobody wants a talking mouse or a talking pin, they want real solutions that will make their lives better today.
